About This Project
Served as Technical Lead for De Goudse Verzekeringen, a major Dutch insurance company, during a critical period of platform modernization. My responsibilities extended beyond development to include architectural decisions, disaster recovery planning, and team leadership.
I conducted rigorous PR reviews for all code changes, ensuring architectural consistency and preventing technical debt. I designed and implemented a disaster recovery strategy that reduced RTO (Recovery Time Objective) from 24 hours to 2 hours, significantly improving business continuity capabilities. I also provided technical support for the migration from Sitecore XP to XM Cloud, helping the team navigate the complexities of moving to a cloud-native architecture.
The XP to XM Cloud migration completed successfully with less than 4 hours of downtime. Through consistent PR reviews and architectural guidance, I improved overall code quality by approximately 35%, as measured by reduced bug reports and faster feature delivery.
