About This Project
Joined AON as Senior Sitecore Developer to build a greenfield multi-country web platform from scratch. The project used Sitecore JSS 9.1 with a Vue.js and Nuxt.js frontend, implementing a fully headless architecture following Helix principles.
I built the initial architecture, set up the CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps, and established development workflows using Leprechaun for code generation and Unicorn for serialization. I designed the GraphQL API layer that powered the frontend, implementing efficient queries that reduced payload sizes by 60% compared to traditional REST approaches. I also configured multi-site and multi-language support to serve 8 different country markets.
The platform launched successfully with all 8 country sites going live within 6 months. The automated deployment pipeline reduced deployment time from 2 hours to 15 minutes, and the headless architecture provided the flexibility to iterate quickly on user experience improvements.
